Where Fretcraft goes deeper than a chord dictionary is harmony. It analyzes what you play and labels it in Roman numerals, so you start to see the patterns behind songs — the ii–V–I, the I–vi–IV–V. The voice-leading lab shows you how to move from one chord to the next with the smallest, smoothest motion: the difference between a real progression and a slideshow of disconnected shapes.
The Chord Progression Generator composes full progressions in nine styles, with control over tension and surprise — to spark ideas or study how good progressions are built. How do I activate it?
After you buy, you get your code by email and it’s always in your Arswerk account. Paste it into the plug-in’s (or app’s) activation screen and you’re set.
How many devices can I use it on?
Up to 3 of your computers on one licence: paste the same code into each.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a full 7 days, everything unlocked, no card. Type your email: the download and your trial code arrive by email. When it ends, activate with the code you get at purchase.
Do I get free updates?
The licence is lifetime — your version works forever. It includes 1 year of free updates; after that the app keeps working regardless, and you can extend updates for another year whenever you like.
Which operating systems are supported?
The plug-in ships as VST3 for macOS, Windows and Linux, plus an AU for macOS — drop it into your plug-in folder and it works in any VST3/AU host. The Fretcraft app runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux (.rpm for Fedora, .deb for Ubuntu/Debian).
Can I get a refund?
