Nyx is a harmonic reverb built on a sixteen-line FDN, with twelve spaces that go well beyond the usual hall/plate: Hall, Cathedral, Cave, Plate, Cosmos, Abyss, Nebula, Underworld, Aether, Glass Temple, Black Hole and Dreamfall. Each has its own character, from an intimate room to an abyss that gives nothing back, and the tails run for minutes while staying clean.

But you are not limited to picking a preset: in DESIGN SPACE you draw the room. Drag the corners of the polygon and that room’s geometry becomes the reverb: the distances between its walls drive the reflections, so a square and a cathedral nave genuinely sound different. On the SPACE PAD you shape size and brightness on the fly.

The harmonic side is just as real: Consonance and Tension make the tail sing the notes of your music, shimmer has selectable pitch, and the SPECTRAL engine scatters crystalline sparkles an octave above the source. The control set is studio-grade: three-band decay (BASS, HIGH DECAY and damping) to keep the low end tight and the air alive, plus pre-delay, diffusion, stereo width, modulation, filters and mix. Freeze holds the tail forever, Gate chops it, Duck pulls it down while you play, and four morphable scenes blend entire environments into one another.

And then there is the interface: an animated black cat that shifts pose and mood with every parameter, while echo particles genuinely ricochet off the walls of the room you drew. Nyx is free: all you need is an Arswerk account, and the licence is already waiting in your dashboard.
